During Comic-Con you visit a lot of booths and come across a lot of new comics.  Most of which are quickly forgotten.  But one booth that caught my eye was Zenescope Entertainment.  Zenescope publishes a number of comics but the most interesting comics for me have been the Grimm Fairy Tales and Wonderland series’.

After spending the last few years living on trade paperbacks, I’ve decided to jump back into buying issues.  Bought a bunch of Marvel subscriptions because its cheaper than hitting up my super weak local comic shop.  Would of signed up at DC as well but the only thing I care about in the DCU is Batman and he’s dead at the moment.  When he comes back I might sign up for something.

Anyway, prices at Marvel are pretty good.  The first subscription is $24.97 for 12 issues and every subscription after that is $22.97 for 12 issues.  So if your going to sign up it pays to sign up for a bunch at once.  Complete list I subscribed to:

Recently came across this manga; actually manhwa is accurate since its Korean.  Story is written by Lim Dal-yong and art is by Kim Kwang-hyun

Next up Comics.  Recently raided my local bookstore for some trades and hit up instocktrades.com

I first heard about this comic on the Totally Rad Show and finally got around to reading it this morning.  For the uninformed, Surrogates is written by Robert Venditti and takes place in a world where live life vicariously through robotic surrogates.  The story follows detective Harvey Greer as he investigates a string of recent crimes and hunts down the person responsible for several electrocuted surrogates.
